High School

At Fatima, we believe in inclusive, holistic education, where we encourage all pupils to strive for excellence and the reaching of their own personal best.

Academics

As part of Grade 8 and 9, the girls are introduced to integrated learning where they grapple with real life situations to instil creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration as important skills.

We offer a wide range of academic subjects, including IT and EGD as we recognise the importance of technology when preparing the girls for the future.

Our subject packages allow the girls to pursue their interests to best prepare them for tertiary learning. Fatima’s consistently good IEB academic results are testament to the dedication and commitment of the teaching staff. Last year we had 6 placings in top 1% of subjects nationally.

We are proud of our achievements in winning the Top 10 Swimming Festival, The Durban and District’s Girls’ A League Gala as well as continuing to be extremely competitive in the KZN Hockey and Netball Leagues.

Our school’s ethos is at the heart of our Humanities programme, which aims to connect students within the school and to wider communities.

We offer a variety of platforms to cater to the diverse interests of our student body; whether it’s expressing themselves through the performing and visual arts, finding fellowship through spiritual enrichment, or giving their hearts and hands in service, we hope that all our girls find their ‘place’.

With a vision of fostering personal growth in collaborative communities, this spiritual, cultural and arts hub aims to connect like-minded students in spaces where they can innovate, create, and pursue their passions to become valuable contributors to society.
